The Adventures of Doug and Nick in Canada

Like many of our best idea’s, this was hatched over beer with friends. Our great friend, Nick Poufard of Prisma Guitars has been building these incredible guitars from recycled skateboard decks for years. Back at the Sonore Festival in 2019 in Montreal, Nick, the Frank Brothers and I were hanging out having beers and Nick came up with the idea of doing a collaboration for NAMM2019. This evolved into having a joint party at our mutual dealer Cottonwood Music. Nick mailed us 5 skateboard tops and we painted 4 Prisma Guitars in special Kauer paint jobs. One of the most fun things we’ve ever done! Check out the details below.
